A3-Action All Around: An Act Par Excellence
From Fri, 12 Jun 2015 6:00 PM To Fri, 12 Jun 2015 6:00 PM
Organised By: IIFL Private Wealth
Location: Grand Hyatt, Kalina, Mumbai

It’s no 7-year itch – in fact, far from it. IIFL Private Wealth was founded seven years ago  and we have had a spectacular growth story to emerge as India’s top private wealth management firm. To celebrate its 7th anniversary, IIFL Private Wealth recently hosted 'A3-Action All Around', a grand spectacle woven around the theme of  â€˜amplifying and extracting the maximum potential from any given situation by examining it from different angles’. Well, there indeed was plenty of action all around at the Grand Hyatt, Kalina, Mumbai from afternoon till the wee hours of the morning!

'A3' took place on May 8, 2015 and attract an august gathering of over 1500 guests comprising first generation entrepreneurs, IT/PE/finance professionals and well-known business scions. Consummate actor and theatre artiste Boman Irani hosted the evening and did a lot more than that really, by sometimes giving the audience food for thought, or by having them in splits. He donned the avatar of a singer too, rendering ‘My Way’ most beautifully.

Our Founder and Executive Director Yatin Shah gave the welcome address and then it was over to the CIO’s Enclave with Prashant Jain, Sankaran Naren and Sunil Singhania in attendance. While IIFL Holdings Chairman Nirmal Jain spoke eloquently on the very relevant topic of ‘It’s all About Money, Honey,’ media czar Raghav Bahl highlighted the cause of Digital Disruption of Business.

The first entertainment scheduled for the day was the choreographed Tron Act that used light and darkness to create a stunning visual impact. Of course, what created such an impact that the audience was up twice for a standing ovation was blind British motivational speaker Miles Hilton Barber, who was as witty as insightful in his presentation of the theme, ‘How to Fulfill Your Business Potential’. He touched upon the tales of undertaking extreme endurance events across all seven continents.

While edification and knowledge inspired the audience in the first half of the afternoon and evening, post dinner, it was all about enthralling experiences and entertainment. While relaxing with Cuban cigars and single malt tastings were par for course, creativity and aestheticism blended with a specially curated 90 minute incorporating dance, fashion and music. A ramp show featuring designer Wendell Rodricks’ creations and Natya Nectar’s take on contemporary and traditional dance forms had the guests cheering in appreciation.

Of course, the night was still rather young when DJ Aqeel took over and got everyone right on the dance floor with his pulsating mixes.

Till we meet again next year!
